The All-Delhi Karate Do Association has announced the organisation of the Shaheed Smriti Karate Championship – S-I, scheduled to be held on 14 February 2026 at Professor's Global School Baprola, New Delhi, India - 110043.
The championship is being organised as a tribute to India’s great national heroes — Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Ashfaqullah Khan, whose courage, sacrifice, and patriotism continue to inspire generations. The event aims to promote the values of discipline, bravery, national pride, and character building among youth through the art of karate.
Envisioned by Mr. Mithilesh Vidyarthi and organised under his leadership, the championship carries a strong social message — encouraging young athletes to honour the spirit of sacrifice and nationalism on 14 February, instead of engaging in Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Speaking about the event, the organisers stated that karate is not just a sport but a way of life that instills self-control, respect, mental strength, and patriotism. Through this championship, the association seeks to connect martial arts with national values and inspire youth to follow the path of discipline and responsibility.
The organisers have assured that the event will be conducted in a safe, disciplined, and well-organised manner, strictly following all institutional norms and guidelines. Participants from various age groups and karate academies are expected to take part in the championship.
The Shaheed Smriti Karate Championship – S-I stands as a meaningful initiative that blends sports with remembrance, honouring the legacy of India’s freedom fighters while shaping the future of young athletes.
